Abstract

This study aims to shed light on one of the most renowned transmissions of Al-Muwatta by Imam Malik ibn Anas, namely, the narration of Yahya ibn Yahya al-Laythi al-Andalusi. This version first gained popularity in al-Andalus and the Maghreb before its reputation spread globally.
